Last night, Nick called me up to see what I was up to. He said to come on down to the art show at Rosenthal Gallery where he was and that a cup of wine would be waiting for me. I ride my bike the 6 miles across town only to meet this guy...
ZOMBIEEEEEEEEEEEEEESS! I love them. Actually, as part of the artist, Jillian McDonald's video installation on horror films and apocolyptic-zombie scenarios, she was also offering zombification of patrons as performance art. So, we did like any other art vendee would do and became zombies....
...zombies who need to breathe right...
...zombies in car accidents...
...zombies in yet another car accident!...
...coquetish zombies...
...they were everywhere...
McDonald also had a few holographic photo images of the zombification process...
...and one video called "Scream", clipping a variety of horror films from the 70's onward, where she green-screens herself in and screams appropriately. Why?
...Oh.
Back in my studio, been working hard in the sunlight to color and frame some of the drawings. 7 hours later, now I really feel like a zombie.
I love your work! The "brown drawings" are amazing.
